Nasty water leak? We've got you covered

If you ever have a water or waste leak & the ceiling falls in at your home or business, then our awesome Tuff-Tanks can help you carry on regardless.

If you ever have a nasty water or waste leak and the ceiling falls in at your home or business, or the loos simply won't flush, then our awesome waste tanks can help you carry on regardless. We have you covered at Plastic Solutions together with ICAB PODS Ltd (Insurance Claims Accommodation Bureau).

Ross Flanagan from ICAB  says, ‘The ICAB POD is a perfect solution if you want to stay at home and carry on if only your kitchen or bathroom are affected by an insurance claim’.

An ICAB POD is a portable mobile unit that gives you (and your family or colleagues) temporary access to cooking and bathroom facilities whilst your home or office is restored to full working order.
That’s a smart solution to an awkward problem.

So, where does Plastic Solutions come in?

Well, we provide the Mini Tuff Tank that neatly slides underneath the ICAB POD. Simples!

Jon Trelfa, General Manager of Plastic Solutions says, ‘ICAB PODS and Plastic Solutions' Mini Tuff Tank make a perfect combination. We’re thrilled with this partnership.

Today we have numerous Mini Tuff Tanks being prepared for delivery to ICAB PODS. We're even making them linkable as pairs: doubling the period before the tanks will need emptying.'

Two Mini Tuff-Tanks being prepared to join side-by-side, in series

Doing the calculations-

For this particular order, we are coupling five pairs of two Mini Tuff Tanks, side-by-side (see photo).

When we're at home and all our services are working normally (toilets, shower, bath, washing machine, dishwasher etc.) then each person will create a surprising 150 litres of water and waste per day...and normally that all flows away, out of sight, out of mind. But, when catastrophe strikes and the ICAB POD becomes your welcome, but only, source for toilet and washing whilst you're having the damage repaired, then the amounts of water used and waste created will be lower.

It's not an exact science - we're all different human beings, after all. We'll assume that you're not using a dishwasher, washing machine or bath and that the family is out at school or work for part of the working day, for example. In this scenario, you won't be using the ICAB POD for all your "needs" (you'll be using the loos at work or school) and so we're suggesting each person will produce 50-100 litres of water and waste per day whilst using the ICAB POD.

So, for a family of four, that works out at 320-400 litres per day from the ICAB POD. Therefore, as a very rough guide, you'll need to arrange for the waste to be removed by a small domestic toilet tanker around once every 7 days or so.
