This Summer you'll find us in The Open Air

Following on from our blog on Glamping (cf "If you go down to the woods today…") we were delighted to get an invite to contribute to a leading trade magazine covering this sector. Plastic Solutions was featured in Summer edition of the "The Open Air Business" magazine, which is focused on the needs of the outdoor hospitality industry.

It's well worth a look at the mag just to get a sense of how large and vibrant this market really is. Open Air covers three areas in particular: function venues, glampsite operators and event organisers. Plastic Solutions has an existing interest with both functions (especially when they involve marquees and temporary structures) and events. We are now exploring how products such as the Tuff Tank and Mini Tuff Tank can support the Glamping sector by providing superior sanitation and waste management facilities.

Tuff Tanks are ideal for temporary effluent storage which allows sites to offer wash and shower facilities, and full-flush lavatories without a mains sewage connection. Plastic Solutions can also supply IBC water bowsers and water pumps to provide a water supply at even the remotest site.
