450 Litre Waste Tank

In vertical format its slimline construction makes it suitable for use as a rainwater harvesting tank /water butt where it will fit into a 460mm / 18" wide space next to a house or shed downpipe. It is fitted with an 8" lid to the top surface and a 1" BPS fitting at the base: we are able to supply a 1", 3/4" or 1/2" tap to suit.

With inbuilt baffles it may also be used as vehicle-mounted water tank for the transportation of liquids e.g. for watering / spraying purposes.

In horizontal format it is commonly used as a waste collection tank to collect grey water, toilet waste and slurry. Typical applications are glamping huts, construction site accommodation and event industry units such as toilets, showers and catering stands. The standard 1" BSP fitting can be supplemented by fittings up to 4" in diameter, on request.

These tanks are supplied in a black finish as standard.

Standard outlet fitting provided is a 1" brass female BSP fitting. Outlet fittings allow you to connect to other equipment or to drain the tanks.
Drain valves and linking pipes are also available, the latter to link tanks together to increase volume.

The dry weight is the non-packaged weight of the basic tank. Tanks will be palletised for shipment with a pallet distributor, not a parcel service.
In use, each 1 litre of liquid equates to 1 KG in weight.
